Aged Oolong 老烏龍
"Aged" doesn't just mean "old" although time is the major factor in the evolution of the taste.
This tea was produced in Fujian, China in 1993 and came to the US in 2008. Therefore, it is in its late 20 now.
Once oolong tea is aged, its taste will move from the front to the back of the throat. The original floral aroma has transformed into smooth, mellow, or even medicinal notes.
You will be really surprised how time can enhance its aftertaste with sweet and plummy sourness.
All in all, this is a good stepping stone into the world of Aged oolong.
