From the only high altitude, ecological tea farm in Taiwan, Gaba Tea, has a unique taste that is sweet with a subtle hint of sour. Rich and smooth, the tea relieves thirst and is warm in nature. Favored by Japanese, who call it “Da Chi Tea” (energy generating tea), the tea creates great energy flow, stamina and helps to stay away from fatigue. The production process is different from regular tea; it requires extended period of fermentation in oxygen-free settings and almost eliminates caffeine. The quantity is extremely limited due to the complicated production procedures. Research studies in Taiwan and Japan have discovered that the gamma element in the tea can calm nerves and improve the quality of sleeping.
