Huoshan Yellow Tea
$12.00Price
Huoshan Yellow Tea is grown in tea gardens located around 400 meters above sea level in Huoshan County, Lu'an, Anhui. Its harvesting and processing are quite distinct—farmers usually pick one bud with three to four leaves (slightly fully matured fresh leaves). The leaves then go through "闷黄" (mèn huáng / smother-yellowing), the key processing step that gives yellow tea its unique profile.
The finished tea leaves are a glossy, golden-brown. Once brewed, it yields a rich, smooth, and full-bodied cup. Its most captivating feature is a delightfully crisp, bold aroma of caramel and toasted rice. It's comforting, incredibly smooth on the palate, and leaves a remarkably clear, sweet aftertaste.
