Mengding Ganlu 蒙 頂 甘 露
Mengding Ganlu comes from traditional seed-grown tea gardens on Mount Mengding in Sichuan Province, one of the birthplaces of Chinese tea culture. Grown with a low-intervention approach and without the use of pesticides, these heritage tea gardens preserve the natural character of the mountain environment. Revered for centuries as an imperial tribute tea, Mengding Ganlu remains one of China’s most distinguished green teas.
Unlike many green teas that focus primarily on delicate aroma, Mengding Ganlu is prized for both its freshness and its remarkably rich texture. The liquor is smooth, sweet, and full-bodied, offering gentle chestnut notes, a refreshing mountain character, and a lingering sweetness with virtually no bitterness. Its refined balance of depth, softness, and elegance reflects the enduring legacy of one of China’s oldest historic teas.
