Premium White Peony (King Peony)
Harvested in the spring of 2017 from Fuding, Fujian, this Premium White Peony is the highest grade of White Peony and is often known as King Peony. Picked during a very short early spring harvest, it is made from carefully selected buds with the first tender leaf just beginning to open. The buds are plump, covered in fine white down, and produced in very limited quantities.
It combines the fresh sweetness and silky downy character of Silver Needle with the elegant floral aroma that makes White Peony so distinctive. The liquor is smooth, sweet, and full-bodied, with remarkable depth and a long, lingering finish. Each infusion reveals new layers of aroma and flavor.
Rich in fine buds and natural compounds, King Peony has excellent aging potential. As it matures over time, the tea becomes even smoother and more rounded, developing greater depth while remaining a rare tea prized for both collecting and everyday enjoyment.
