Sun Moon Lake Black Tea 日月潭紅茶

Sun Moon Lake black tea is sourced from a tea plantation in the natural forest of Yuchi Township, Nantou, at an altitude of about 1,000 meters above sea level, which is surrounded by fog during rainfall and is close to Sun Moon Lake.  The soil is reddish yellow podzolic soil which is very suitable for tea growth.
The tea color is a bright orange-red with a sweet, mellow, and rich taste.  Mouthfeel is smooth and sweet with the aroma of pomelo flower honey that lingers on the palate.
